2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 cans golden mushroom soup
1 can french onion soup (or you can use a packet of onion soup mix)
1-1/2 lbs of cheap beef cut into cubes
Throw everything into a crockpot on low heat. Rinse the cans out with hot water and add that water to the crockpot (should end up equalling about 2 cans of water). Let it sit on low heat for 8-9 hours. Before you serve – add
1/2 cup sour cream – stir into the stroganoff
When doing an actual crockpot luncheon, I take the cooked noodles and mix them into the stroganoff mixture about an hour before we are planning to eat. When I am at home, I have the piping hot noodles on a plate and just spoon the stroganoff mixture over the noodles.
DO NOT COOK THE NOODLES in the crockpot with the stroganoff mixture – you will end up with a starchy mess!
